Fixed Price Proposal within 2 days
Within two working days, you’ll receive a clear, fixed-price proposal outlining the scope of research and what you can expect.

50% deposit and research begins
Once you’re happy to go ahead, you pay a 50% deposit and we begin the detailed archival research on your family.

PDF report delivered and balance due
You’ll receive a carefully written PDF report with sources and findings. The remaining balance is due when your report is delivered.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does research take?
Most projects take between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on the scope of research and the availability of records. I’ll always give you an estimated timeframe before we begin.
Can results be guaranteed?
No professional genealogist can guarantee specific discoveries, as records may be missing or incomplete. I do, however, guarantee a thorough, honest search and a clear explanation of what was and wasn’t found.
Do I need prior research?
Not at all. I can start from the information you already know, whether that’s a full tree or just a few names and dates. If you have prior research, I’ll review it as a starting point.
How do I pay?
You’ll pay a 50% deposit when you approve the proposal, with the remaining balance due when your final report is delivered. Payments are made securely in GBP by bank transfer.
